Extreme Nutrition have carefully chosen ingredients which should not lead to the fat storage usually associated with this genre of products. The protein is from a quality fat reduced whey concentrate and the carbohydrates are from fructose (as a sweetner), maltodextrin (the industry standard carb source in mass building products) and pre sprouted barley.

Pre sprouted barley contains all the amino acids classed as essential for humans to digest from their food, it is also rich in essential fatty acids and fibre which many supplement companies seem to forget completely.

This formula will cause a slow and sustained release of nutrients to the bloodstream which will not cause large insulin fluctuations which lead to fat storage. The time release absorption principle also means the body has more time to absorb the nutrients and get them to the parts of the body where they are required.

Extreme Nutrition was born in December 1999, both of the directors of the company were competitive bodybuilders who were sick of all the marketing hype and overpriced but low quality supplements being pushed at that point in time.
